2. Hosting & Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is recorded on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of his website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
3. Local Storage & Cookies
Our website uses minimal local storage technology (HTML5 LocalStorage) to save your preference for "Dark Mode" or "Light Mode". This data remains stored on your device until you delete it. No personal tracking data is stored in this process.
We do not use invasive tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
4. Third Party Services
Google Fonts
For the uniform display of fonts, this page uses so-called web fonts provided by Google. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.
Font Awesome
We use Font Awesome for icons. These may be loaded via a Content Delivery Network (CDN). Your IP address might be transmitted to the service provider (Cloudflare/Fonticons, Inc.) to load these assets.
External Application Forms (Google Forms)
Our website links to external application forms provided by Google Forms. If you click on "Apply for Selection," you will be redirected to Google. We point out that we have no influence on the data processing on Google's platforms. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for more information.
5. Newsletter
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you. No further data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for the delivery of the requested information.
Processing via Sender.net
We use "Sender.net" to send our newsletters. The provider is Sender.net UAB, based in Lithuania (EU). The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. email address) is stored on Sender.net's servers in the EU.
Double Opt-In: To ensure that the newsletter is requested by you, we use the so-called "Double Opt-In" procedure. After entering your email address, you will receive a confirmation email. Only after clicking the confirmation link will you be added to the distribution list.
Legal Basis: The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by using the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter or by contacting us directly. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data at any time. You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions on the subject of personal data.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
