I'm a medical student and can't code. Can I join?
Absolutely. That is exactly why we exist. We don't expect you to write Python scripts. We expect you to explain clinical workflows, identify pain points in the hospital, and guide the tech talent. You bring the "Why" and "What", they bring the "How".
I'm a Dev/Data Scientist. Is this just "fixing printers"?
No. We focus on high-impact challenges: Clinical NLP, Computer Vision in Radiology, FHIR Interoperability, and LLMs in healthcare. You will work on real-world problems that usually require a PhD or a job at a major hospital to even access.
How much time does membership consume?
We are students too. We respect exam phases (SIPs/Modulprüfungen). Expect about 4-6 hours per month for meetups and workshops. If you join a specific project team or hackathon, the intensity will be higher for that period.
How strictly do you select the 50 members?
We look for motivation over grades. We curate the group to ensure a 50/50 split between Med and Tech. If you are passionate about changing healthcare and show curiosity, you are in. We reject people who just want a CV booster without contributing.
I am already a working professional. Can I join?
The "Student Membership" is for enrolled students only. However, we have an "Alumni & Professional" track. You can join as a mentor or expert advisor. Please use the Partner Inquiry button in the hero section.
